Universal seminar for dog service

On the base of PJSC "Zaporozhneupor" was held a seminar for employees of dog services. It was attended by dog handlers from "SECURITY HOLDING-Krivbass", "SECURITY HOLDING-East", "SECURITY HOLDING-Slavutich", a doctor of veterinary medicine and a psychologist from "SECURITY HOLDING-Slavutich".

The seminar went on for 5 days: from 30.11 till 04.12. During this time the participants listened to the oral report from the National police officer and had theoretical trainings. Among other things they remembered the Law of Ukraine "About Security Activity". The lecture was presented by the deputy director of SSD LLC "SECURITY HOLDING" A.V. Dolinniy.

The theory was supplemented by practical exercises:

• basics of puppy training;
• Training of dogs to execute commands: sit, lie down, stand, crawl, bring objects, return to the place;
• Training dogs to react calmly to loud shots, explosions and other sound stimuli.
• In addition to theoretical knowledge and practical skills, the participants also received veterinary training:
• Cooking healthy food for dogs;
• proper feeding of dogs;
• The most common diseases of dogs and first-aid treatment.
